Weekend Roundup

It’s Swim Week(end)!

Friday (7/19) // Fridays@TheBass:

If you’re looking for an alternative to all things Swim Week tonight, take a 10-minute walk to The Bass Museum on Collins Avenue for a special edition of their weekly series, Fridays@TheBass. In addition to extended museum hours, tonight’s program includes Kevin Arrow’s short film Gianni Versace and a live performance by Holly Hunt. The show kicks off at 7pm and it’s only $10!

Saturday (7/20) // Indian Creek Shoreline Cleanup:

Before we hit the beach for our Saturday morning yoga session, we’re teaming up with ECOMB, the City of Miami Beach, South Beach Kayak, SkyBanditz and many other volunteers to give back and help clean up the Indian Creek Shoreline directly across the street from us. To participate, register here and then meet us tomorrow at the corner of Indian Creek Way and 27th Street at 8:30am!

Sunday (7/21) // Don’t Worry Baby (Swim Week Part I):

Head on over Sunday to kick it poolside with yours truly, Skinny Kings and the lovely Amanda Del Duca of Capture Fashion as we host our first Miami Swim Week ever! Here’s what’s up: Expect lots of ice cold Peronis, Vita Cocos and Broken Shaker cocktails throughout the afternoon, plus sweet beats by Will Buck and David Sinopoli of Legs Benedict, Dude Skywalker and Gooddroid. To top it off, I Shine 365 is taking over the backyard and setting up shop to showcase their hot brands and new collections. Make sure to come by early and cash in on complimentary drinks from 2-4pm! (RSVP)

Monday (7/22) // Chromat Pool Party (Swim Week Part II):

Close out Swim Week with our final backyard shebang featuring the inimitably sexy swimwear stylings of Chromat. Expect a little bit of everything under the courtyard lights, including tunes by Misawa, a live performance by Miami-based Afrobeta, synchronized swimming by Verso Performance, ice-cold glasses of Ben Watts’ WattsUp Rosé and, of course, your favorite Broken Shaker cocktails. Not bad for a Monday night. (RSVP)
